CLOYNE DIOCESAN CHANGES – SEPTEMBER 2015
Most Rev William Crean has accepted the resignation from office of the following priests in the Diocese of Cloyne to come into effect on 5th September:
- Rev. Canon Seán Cotter, PP Charleville retired as PP, while continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board of Management of St. Colman’s College, Fermoy.
- Rev. John Cogan, PP Castlemartyr/Imogeela
Bishop Crean has made the following appointments in the Diocese of Cloyne with effect from September 5th:
- Rev. Dan Gould, retired P.E., Killavullen to be priest in residence Ballindangan
- Rev. Canon Donal O’Mahony, P.P., Cloyne to be P.P. Charleville
- Rev. Frank O’Neill, P.P., Ballyclough to be P.P. Castlemartyr/Imogeela
- Rt. Rev. Msgr. James O’Brien returning from service with the Holy See, at the Vatican to be P.P. Ballyhea and become a member of the Cathedral Chapter
