A Permanent Deacon from Dublin Diocese, Rev. Jerry Larkin, will assist and preach at Masses next weekend 9th /10th April. At present we have nine candidates in formation for the Permanent Diaconate and six of these are due for ordination in 2017. The generous offering of these men and their enthusiasm to serve as Minister of the Word, of charity and of the altar is a great gift of God to the Church in our place and time. He will be accompanied by his wife Patricia. We welcome them to our parish.
