There is a recommendation from Bishop Crean that the 24 parishes in the diocese that do not have a pastoral council should
form one.

A pastoral council has to do with the “faith life and activities” of our parish.
It has nothing to do with finance and buildings.
Each and every parishioner is invited to submit a nomination of a person from the parish whom he/she thinks would be of
help in promoting the pastoral care and prayer life and faith life of the parish to the advantage of all the parishioners.
Take a pink nomination paper from the porch. Complete it and return your nomination to the secure box at the centre
isle of the church, so that the process may continue. The box is near the table we use for the offertory presentation of gifts. Do it
now. The closing date for nominations is Monday 18th May at 5.00pm.
