Safeguarding Children.
A new Safeguarding Children Policy and Standards for the Catholic Church in Ireland 2016 has just been published. This Revised Policy underlines a “one-Church” approach across all constituent Church bodies and now replaces the Standards & Guidance Document 2008. Plans are underway to induct and upskill all personnel in the Diocese in these revised developments in the near future.
