ADORATION CHAPEL

24/07/2020

The resumption of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the small Chapel was discussed at the Pastoral Council on Monday last.  The Pastoral Council realize that over the last three years a number of the past adorers have become ill, elderly and more infirmed, some may be fearful of coming into a smaller space, and others have gone to their eternal reward.  The decision of the council was to contact Breda Daly the coordinator and to meet with Mary Fitzgibbon and Canon O’ Mahony to discuss when it might resume and for some extra hours.  At the moment there is adoration after morning Mass on Mondays and Fridays for an hour.  People will be invited to sign up in the future to discern what interest there might be in expanding the hours of adoration and who is willing to sign up for a specific time.
